What are some reasons Alabama instituted a grocery tax?

1) Alabama instituted a grocery tax because they needed to generate revenue during a recession.

2) One example of how poor people are impacted by the tax is by having to shop for sales/deals and sometimes must choose one item over another.

3) The poor pay too much and are burdened more than the wealthy. They cut taxes on the wealthy as well.

4) The grocery tax is unfair because it is hurting poorer people which keeps classism at a high.

5) If the grocery tax was eliminated, then I would Institute a tax that taxes people more based upon how much they earn so that the poor don't get screwed over.
